Visitor Policies and Standard Operating Procedure

Summary

As the Visitor, you have no responsibilities whatsoever. You are free to go about the common areas as you please, and socialize with others. However, just as you are expected to not do any actual work, you are also expected to not attempt to do any work. Thought you'd clean up that drop of blood? Prepare to be flagellated by the Janitor. This is the very same as being invited into someone's house and doing their chores. Why are you doing their chores? It's disrespectful as a guest, and by attempting to do actual work, you are insulting the work ethic and abilities of the station's real crew. So, do yourself a favor and do your REAL job:

Visiting

That's right. As the Visitor, you are expected to visit. Scour the station of lonely crew and give them company. The Midpoint and the bar are two favored meeting positions of crew seeking friendship. If nobody is there, hop from department to department until you find somebody. Bless them with your presence, words, and friendship they didn't even want. You're the go-to when somebody is busy and needs to be bothered.

Visiting By Department

The following is a group of examples on how to bother each department:

Department Example
Command "The bridge needs more friendship to function correctly. Let me in!"
Security "Loneliness is a crime, and I'm here to remedy this!"
Engineering "Good job fixing the breach. Can you fix my depression?"
Science "Could you print some warm feelings from the protolathe?"
Medical "I'm hurt, doc. Can you fix my broken heart?"
Supply "EVERYONE ELSE IS IGNORING ME, LET ME IN SO I CAN HUG YOU"
