Summary

As the Janitor, it is your job to purge the unclean. You will utilize your trusty mop to destroy filth wherever it appears, and annihilate any space dirt that would dare to tarnish the station with its presence. You're the only one that can be relied upon to clean up the streets. Sales pitch aside, it is absolutely your duty to ensure there are no scuff-marks or questionable fluids on anything. Keep an eye on high-traffic areas and patrol for the nasties so that you may keep sanity and sanitation in check.

Supplies Locations

The Janitor's supplies are scattered around the station on several levels. Use the CustodiPRO cartridge you begin with in your PDA to locate them. The following is a list of all supplies' locations.

Asteroid 2	Nothing. The supplies on your locator are in a riot control prison cell.
Asteroid 1	Small Closet. Water tank, Mop, Bucket, and a box of replacement lights.
Midpoint	Nothing.
Surface 3	Small Closet. Water tank, Mop, Bucket, and a box of replacement lights.
Surface 2	Main Office. Supplies for three Janitors. Contains your uniforms, bio suits, and a requests console, in addition to cleaning supplies.
Surface 1	Small Closet. Water tank, Mop, Bucket, and a box of replacement lights.

Tips and Tricks

• Use the Wet Floor signs.
• You can adjust the nozzle on the space cleaner bottle by clicking on it. On the 10-units setting, it can travel up to three tiles (cleaning all of them). On the 5-units setting, it only affects one tile. Use this to be efficient with your cleaning and conserve cleaner.
• There are no space cleaner dispensers. You must acquire space cleaner from Chemistry. Either use your radio, requests console, or walk up to their office.
• Use the Wet Floor signs.
• Try to save the space cleaner for high-traffic areas, or places where people are waiting for you to get done. It doesn't leave a wet floor, so it's ideal for a get-in-get-out clean.
• Use the mop and bucket in isolated places. No one will slip, and water is free.
